Recently we have been expanding the team at Benjamin’s to meet the growing needs of our patients and are pleased to welcome Pam Ernest to our professional team. She joins our other Contact Lens Optician June Perera.
“Since David Benjamin retired some months ago we’ve continued his excellent work in contact lenses”, Says Director, Liz Ellis: “David’s are big shoes to fill to the point where we needed to expand the team to cope with the existing work and expand into new are as such as Ortho K, the lenses you wear overnight which reshape your eye so you don’t need spectacles. This, alongside our new Dry Eye Clinic and exciting new ranges of exclusive lenses, sets us up for a bright future here at Benjamin’s to offer our patients the very best.”
Pam is a very experienced Contact Lens Optician, who has spent many years in practice and in the optical industry. She started her professional career as practice manager for a small group of opticians, later opening her own practice in Lancashire. Pam is also a Professional Affairs consultant to Johnson and Johnson Vision Care who manufacture and supply many of the lenses we supply at Benjamin’s, including the new multifocal range, which are superb. In her spare time Pam loves backpacking – particularly in South East Asia and enjoys experiencing different foods and cultures. She loves walking her dogs and swimming.
“Pam is a welcomed addition to our team”, says Liz: “She brings to Benjamin’s a wealth of knowledge, expertise and specialist contact lens skills. Pam’s excellent reputation is one of the main reasons we asked her to join us and I am enthusiastic for the future of our contact lens work as new developments in the field of Myopia control and dry eye management will further enhance the range of treatments we offer our patients.
Pam and June make a formidable duo as our contact lens experts, offering our patients the latest advances in lens technology, together with honest and professional advice.
