Comprehensive Eye Examination
Eye Tests for Adults & Children
Your eyesight is your most precious sense, deserving the highest standards of professional care and at Benjamin Opticians we treat it as a priority. The key to good vision for life is having regular eye examinations and our private examination will ensure you are always looked after.
We believe that to examine your eyes it is essential to use equipment that is at the forefront of technology including OCT & Optomap scanning and AVA (Advanced Vision Accuracy) – the latest prescription and lens technology. This allows us to review in far more detail the health of your eyes and the quality of your vision. For all these reasons we recommend that all healthy adults should have an eye examination at least once every two years. Children and patients with certain conditions can be sen as often as needed.

No more puff of air!
We’ve listened to you. Many of our patients tell us the worst part of their eye examination is the puff of air from a machine we use to check the pressure inside your eye. This helps detect glaucoma and other potential problems.
It is important we can check your pressure each time you come to see us and so we’ve invested in a brand new way of checking your pressure which is even more accurate than the puffer. Introducing iCare – the modern way to accurately check your pressure with no puff of air!
It’s also much safer. iCare does not create any aerosol particles and so reduces the risk of infection.
