From waste to fashion in six steps

R

117 containers have been placed in 30 Spanish ports and 6 French ports where fishermen deposit plastic waste, abandoned nets, fishing lines and ropes.

R

One Ton of waste per day is transfered to a waste selection plant in Girona, Spain

R

Different types of plastic waste are manually separated and selected to be used as raw materials.

R

The frames are made with Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold UPSEAPLAST, the recycled polymer which is sent to italy and makes 100% of the frames.

R

All of the glasses are 100% made in Italy meeting quality requirements of the optical market.

R

Born in the sea, sold around the world and worn by people who care for a cleaner ocean.

Sustainable glasses will not change the world, people who wear them will.

“Where others see waste we see raw material.  Every second 256kg of plastic ends up in our oceans.  Isn’t it time to act?

We strongly believe that sustainable product design, use and assembly is our duty and one of the greater challenges of our time.  That is why we have decided to produce differently.”

See2see founder, Francois Van den Abeele
